Ariel Gail

Prof. Gail S. Goodman has been an outstanding professor of psychology since 1993. She is also the director for the Center for Public Policy Research, University of California Davis. She is widely acclaimed as a pioneer in the field of eyewitness testimony and child witnesses in legal settings. Prof. Goodman has published widely as well as received numerous grants. She has also been recognized with numerous national and international prizes. She has collaborated with numerous government agencies and institutions around the globe on policy and research relating to child victims of the legal system. She is a consultant at the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center and was previously known as the Multidisciplinary Interview Center of Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She is also a fellow of the Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association, (Divisions Experimental Psychology and Developmental Psychology Society for Children and Families Policy and Practice American Psychology Law Society Psychology of Women and Traumatic Stress 56). She is the founder of the American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children, the Psychonomics Society Society for Research in Child Development, and the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. She was the president of the American Psychological Association's Developmental Psychology Division division, Division American Psychology Law Society and Division Society for Family and Child Policies and Practice.
