Aubrey Plaza

Aubrey Plaza born June 26 1984 is an actress and comic known for her deadpan comedy. She is April Ludgate in Parks and Recreation. The first web-based series she appeared on was The Jeannie Tate Show in which she performed improv, sketch and slapstick comedy in the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater Plaza. In the wake of her debut the actress went on to made appearances as a character in Judd Apatow Funny People and Scott Pilgrim's vs. World. It is fitting to celebrate her birth today. Aubrey Christina Plaza born Wilmington Delaware, the granddaughter of attorney Bernadette Plass and Financial specialist David Plaza. Both her parents both are Irish/English, and Puerto Rican. Plaza received a degree from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts and was a Catholic girls' high school in 2006 after graduation in 2002. When she was a senior in high school she was President of the Wilmington Drama League and her student government at her school. Plaza suffered from a stroke while in her sophomore year in college. This left her with an expressive aphasia, as well being paralyzed. She is now fully recovered. Since 2004, Plaza has been doing sketch and improv comedy on The Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in New York City. The Laugh Factory as well The Improv are two places located in N.Y.C. where Plaza performed stand-up comedy. Plaza starred in E.S.P.N.'s Mayne Street as Robin Gibney, The Jeannie Tate Show with Ben Schwartz and also the premiere Terrible Decisions episode. Troopers on CollegeHumor was where Plaza played the role of Princess, a satirical Sci-Fi persona. In 2014, Plaza debuted on saxophone in the Cassorla film Bona Fide. The first time she appeared was in Father John Misty's Hollywood Forever Cemetery Sings in 2012. In the year 2016 Plaza was featured in HarmonQuest on HarmonQuest as Hawaiian Coffee a gnome. The same year, she played Aaron Burr on Drunk History and Cat Adams during Season 11 C.B.S. Criminal Minds. The role of the actress was revived by her on season 12 of the show. The following year she was announced Plaza would be appearing in the comedy series An Evening with Beverly Luff Linn.
